Local arts day – a disappointment Last week's arts day didn't attract many people, had limited appeal to young people and was a waste of council money.

You recently helped to organise an arts day in your area, promoting local musicians and artists through performances, workshops and exhibitions. You disagree with the negative opinions expressed by the reporter in the article below, and decide to write a letter to the Editor, explaining why you disagree and saying what you feel was achieved on the day. You read the following article in a local paper:
