An inherited possession - Test 3

C2 Proficiency · Article · Cambridge English: Proficiency 1, Cambridge University Press

Write your answer in 280–320 words in an appropriate style.

Write your article.

An English-language newspaper is inviting readers to contribute to a series of articles about interesting possessions that have been handed down to them by family members. You decide to write an article about something you have inherited from a family member. You should describe what it is and explain why, in general, you think it is important to pass on interesting possessions to future generations.

Write your answer to this task free online and an AI examiner marks it in about a minute — marks on all four official Cambridge scales (Content, Communicative Achievement, Organisation, Language), corrections quoted from your own script, band advice and an estimated grade. The examiner is calibrated against Cambridge's own examiner-marked scripts: on unseen scripts its marks land within one band of the official examiners'.
