A children's book - Teacher's Guide
C2 Proficiency · Review · Cambridge C2 Proficiency Teacher's Guide for Writing, Cambridge English
Write your answer in 280–320 words in an appropriate style.
Write your review.
An international magazine is running a series of reviews of children's books and has asked for contributions from its readers. You decide to send in a review of one book you read when you were a child. You should briefly describe the story and explain the impact the book had on you. You should also assess the extent to which the book is likely to remain relevant for young people in the future.
Write your answer to this task free online and an AI examiner marks it in about a minute — marks on all four official Cambridge scales (Content, Communicative Achievement, Organisation, Language), corrections quoted from your own script, band advice and an estimated grade. The examiner is calibrated against Cambridge's own examiner-marked scripts: on unseen scripts its marks land within one band of the official examiners'. Also available as a free printable PDF worksheet.
