Write your answer in 280–320 words in an appropriate style.

Write your review.

A literary magazine is running a series of reviews of books that people enjoyed reading as a child and would recommend for children today. You decide to send in a review in which you describe a book you enjoyed and the attractions it had for you as a child. You should also explain why you feel it remains relevant for children today.

Write your answer to this task free online and an AI examiner marks it in about a minute — marks on all four official Cambridge scales (Content, Communicative Achievement, Organisation, Language), corrections quoted from your own script, band advice and an estimated grade. The examiner is calibrated against Cambridge's own examiner-marked scripts: on unseen scripts its marks land within one band of the official examiners'. Also available as a free printable PDF worksheet.
