June and Jennifer Gibbons were twin sisters known as 'the Silent Twins' due to their slightly (1) ___ habit of speaking only to each other and to not anyone else. Born in Barbados, their family relocated to Haverfordwest in Wales when they were infants, and their ethnic differences made (2) ___ with the local community quite difficult.
