Michael Hart (1947–2011) was the (0) ___ of Project Gutenberg, one of the (1) ___ and longest-lasting online literary projects. His life’s aim was to digitise the world’s literature and make it freely available online. As a result of his work, he is widely considered to be the (2) ___ of the eBook. In 1971, Hart typed a copy of the United States Declaration of Independence into the computer at the University of Illinois, where he was a student.
